1. Identification of the operator
Oneiric Diary is operated by Erick Rico, an independent developer, hereinafter the "Operator", "Controller", or "we".

Oneiric Diary will initially be available in Mexico and may subsequently expand to other countries in Latin America, North America, or other regions.
2. Acceptance of the terms
By downloading, installing, creating an account, accessing, or using Oneiric Diary, the user declares that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions, as well as the application's Privacy Notice.
If the user does not agree with these Terms, they must refrain from creating an account, using the application, or accessing its features.
Use of Oneiric Diary may also be subject to the rules, terms, and policies of Apple App Store, Google Play, Firebase (push notifications), email providers, storage services, operating systems, and other technology platforms necessary to operate the application.
3. Description of the service
Oneiric Diary is a mobile dream journal application that allows users to record, classify, organize, and analyze information related to their dreams.
The application includes, among others, the following implemented features:
- dream recording via text;
- dream recording via voice or dictation, when such feature is available on the device (audio may be processed locally on the device; the server primarily receives the transcribed text);
- classification by dream type (conventional, nightmare, lucid, creative/inspirational) and frequency (first time, occasional, recurring);
- generation of statistics, patterns, activity heat maps, and trends;
- automated emotion analysis (joy, sadness, anger, fear, surprise, disgust) in Spanish or English text;
- automated extraction of entities (people, places, organizations, dates) mentioned in dreams;
- individual and aggregated word clouds;
- dream interpretations generated through artificial intelligence (informative psychoanalytic approach);
- free plan with basic features;
- premium plan "Morpheus Premium" via monthly or annual subscription;
- push notifications when an interpretation is ready or has failed;
- in-app support form;
- account management, email verification, and account deletion (in-app and via web).
Planned or in-development features: image generation through artificial intelligence from dreams. When available, the user will be informed and these Terms and the Privacy Notice will be updated.
Oneiric Diary is not a social network, does not offer public interaction between users, and does not include public chat, public comments, or public user profiles, unless expressly stated otherwise in the future through an update to these Terms and the Privacy Notice.
Language limitation: automated text processing (NLP, emotions, entities) is available only for content in Spanish and English.
4. Eligibility and minimum age
Oneiric Diary is recommended and intended primarily for persons over 18 years of age.
Minors under 18 may only use the application with authorization, consent, and supervision of their parent, legal guardian, or tutor. By allowing a minor to use Oneiric Diary, the parent, legal guardian, or tutor accepts these Terms on behalf of the minor and assumes responsibility for their use of the application.
Oneiric Diary is not intentionally directed at young children and is not promoted as a children's application. If the Operator detects that personal data of a minor has been collected without the consent required by applicable law, the account and corresponding data may be deleted, unless there is a legal obligation to retain them.
The Operator may implement age declaration mechanisms, access restrictions, or reasonable verification when deemed necessary or when required by law, App Store, Google Play, or another applicable platform.
5. Registration and user account
To use Oneiric Diary, the user must create an account and provide truthful, complete, and up-to-date information.
Registration and sign-in methods:
a. email and password (primary implemented method), with mandatory email verification via a 6-digit code before access is permitted;
b. sign-in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, when such feature is enabled in the version of the application installed by the user.
Registration data that may be requested: full name, nickname, email address, password, gender, and date of birth (the last two optional). Optionally, the user may provide a profile image URL.
The user is responsible for:
a. maintaining the confidentiality of their access credentials;
b. all activity performed from their account;
c. updating their data when it changes;
d. using the application in a legal, responsible manner and in accordance with these Terms;
e. notifying the Operator of any unauthorized access, misuse, or security incident related to their account.
The Operator shall not be liable for losses, unauthorized access, or damages arising from the user's failure to protect their credentials, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
The user may not transfer, sell, lend, assign, or share their account with third parties without authorization from the Operator.
6. Permitted use and prohibited use
The user agrees to use Oneiric Diary solely for personal, private, creative, informational, recreational, or non-professional self-exploration purposes, in accordance with these Terms and applicable law.
It is expressly prohibited to use Oneiric Diary to:
a. commit illegal acts or facilitate illicit activities;
b. publish, upload, generate, store, or transmit illegal, defamatory, fraudulent, abusive, threatening, harassing, discriminatory content, or content that infringes third-party rights;
c. engage in spam, abusive automation, scraping, unauthorized data mining, or unauthorized mass use;
d. breach, attempt to breach, circumvent, or compromise the security of the application, servers, APIs, databases, artificial intelligence models, or third-party systems, including attempts at prompt injection or manipulation of AI systems;
e. access without authorization accounts, information, systems, or data of other users or third parties;
f. upload content that infringes copyright, trademarks, image rights, privacy, confidentiality, trade secrets, or other third-party rights;
g. impersonate identity or provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information;
h. use the application to harass, threaten, extort, abuse, or harm another person;
i. attempt to manipulate subscriptions, payments, premium benefits, usage limits, or measurement systems;
j. use results generated by artificial intelligence as a substitute for medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, financial, legal, or professional advice;
k. upload sensitive data of third parties without valid authorization;
l. upload audio, images, text, or personal data of third parties without the necessary rights or consents;
m. use the application in a manner that may affect its operation, availability, security, or reputation.
Failure to comply with these restrictions may result in suspension, limitation, or cancellation of the account, content removal, feature restrictions, logging of abusive attempts, notification to authorities, or any other legally permitted measure.
7. User content
The user may enter, upload, generate, or store content within Oneiric Diary, including text, notes, dreams, emotions, categories, voice dictations (as transcribed text), uploaded images, and artificial intelligence-generated images when the feature is available. Such content shall be referred to as "User Content".
The user retains the rights that correspond to them over User Content. The Operator does not acquire ownership of such content merely because the user enters it into the application.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, the user grants the Operator a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license under legally applicable terms, worldwide, royalty-free, and necessary to host, store, process, transmit, analyze, technically transform, generate statistics, generate interpretations, generate word clouds, extract entities and emotions, back up, maintain, and display User Content solely for the purpose of operating Oneiric Diary, providing the service, offering support, preventing abuse, complying with legal obligations, and protecting the security of the application.
The Operator will not use User Content for marketing campaigns, advertising, public promotion, or to train third-party artificial intelligence models.
The user declares and warrants that they have all necessary rights, permissions, and authorizations over the User Content they upload, dictate, write, or process through Oneiric Diary.
The Operator has no general obligation to review all User Content, especially considering that the application functions as a private journal. However, it may implement automated technical systems (including security filters against prompt injection and malicious content), spot reviews, or moderation measures when necessary to prevent abuse, comply with the law, address reports, protect security, enforce these Terms, or comply with requirements of Apple App Store, Google Play, or technology providers.
8. Artificial intelligence features
Oneiric Diary includes features based on artificial intelligence and automated processing to generate dream interpretations, emotional analyses, entity extraction, patterns, statistics, word clouds, and, when available, images.
Processing architecture (July 2026):
a. text analysis (lemmatization, entities, emotions) is performed through proprietary microservices hosted on the Operator's infrastructure, using natural language processing models (spaCy, emotion classification models) run locally;
b. dream interpretations are generated through a language model (LLM) hosted locally via Ollama on servers controlled by the Operator, without sending content to public third-party APIs such as OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, or other cloud AI providers;
c. dream content, along with metadata of detected emotions and entities, is processed exclusively to generate the interpretation requested by the user.
The user acknowledges and accepts that:
a. results generated by artificial intelligence are automated;
b. dream interpretations may be inaccurate, incomplete, erroneous, subjective, symbolic, or unsuitable for all users;
c. results may vary depending on the content entered, available context, models used, and technical limitations;
d. interpretations are offered solely for informational, personal, creative, recreational, or non-professional self-exploration purposes;
e. Oneiric Diary does not offer medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, financial, legal, spiritual, professional, or any other specialized advice;
f. the application does not diagnose diseases, disorders, mental health conditions, clinical risks, or psychological states;
g. the user should not make important decisions based solely on results generated by artificial intelligence;
h. the user is responsible for reviewing, interpreting, and evaluating any result generated by the application;
i. the user should seek qualified professional support when dealing with health, emotional well-being, crisis situations, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, violence, abuse, emergencies, or significant decisions.
If the user is in a medical, psychological, or safety emergency, they must immediately contact emergency services, helplines, family members, trusted persons, or qualified professionals in their jurisdiction. Oneiric Diary is not an emergency service.
9. Artificial intelligence image generation
Oneiric Diary may in the future allow image generation through artificial intelligence from texts, dreams, descriptions, emotions, symbols, or instructions provided by the user. As of this update (July 2026), this feature may not be available in all versions of the application.
When the feature is available, the user acknowledges that:
a. generated images may be symbolic, approximate, inaccurate, unrealistic, or may not faithfully represent the dream or content entered;
b. image generation may be subject to technical limits, security filters, content restrictions, and Operator policies;
c. it is not guaranteed that images will be unique, exclusive, free of similarity with results generated for other users, or suitable for a specific use;
d. the user must not request, generate, or upload illegal, abusive, defamatory, sexually explicit images of minors, violent, discriminatory images, or images that violate third-party rights or breach these Terms;
e. external use of AI-generated images will be the user's responsibility and must comply with applicable law, third-party rights, and conditions of the corresponding technology providers.
To the extent permitted by law, the user may use generated images for personal purposes. Any commercial, public, promotional, or exploitation use must be evaluated under the user's responsibility.
10. Subscriptions, payments, renewals, and cancellations
Oneiric Diary operates under a freemium model, with free features and premium features subject to "Morpheus Premium" subscription.
10.1 Free plan
The free plan allows access to basic Oneiric Diary features, including unlimited dream recording, statistics, patterns, heat maps, emotion and entity analysis, and word clouds per individual dream. Additionally, the free plan includes:
a. one (1) complimentary dream interpretation;
b. one (1) aggregated word cloud generation; after generation, the image is frozen (snapshot) and cannot be updated without a premium subscription.
The Operator may modify, expand, reduce, or limit free features, always in accordance with applicable law and without affecting acquired rights that cannot legally be limited.
10.2 Premium subscriptions — Morpheus Premium
Oneiric Diary offers premium subscriptions identified as:
a. morpheus_monthly (monthly subscription);
b. morpheus_yearly (annual subscription).
Premium benefits include, among others: unlimited dream interpretations, aggregated word cloud updates, and other features described within the application at the time of purchase.
10.3 Payment processing
Subscription payments are processed exclusively through Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the device, operating system, or platform used by the user.
The Operator does not directly process card payments nor store complete bank card information on its own servers. Billing management, renewals, invoicing, taxes, payment methods, cancellations, and refunds are handled in accordance with the policies and systems of Apple, Google, or the corresponding platform. The backend verifies subscription status server-side with the official Google Play Developer API and Apple App Store Server API.
10.4 Automatic renewal
Subscriptions may renew automatically at the end of each billing period, unless the user cancels them in a timely manner from their Apple App Store, Google Play, or corresponding platform account.
10.5 Cancellation
The user may cancel their subscription from the subscription settings of Apple App Store or Google Play. Deleting the application from the device or deleting the Oneiric Diary account does not automatically cancel an active subscription managed by Apple or Google.
10.6 Refunds
Refunds are subject to the policies of Apple App Store, Google Play, or the platform through which the purchase was made.
10.7 Price changes
The Operator may modify prices, plans, or benefits. When required by the platform or law, the user will be notified.
10.8 Free trials
If Oneiric Diary offers free trials in the future, their conditions will be displayed before purchase.
10.9 Loss of access to premium features
The user may lose access to premium features when they cancel, the subscription expires, a refund is obtained, the account is deleted, these Terms are breached, or Apple/Google revoke the purchase.
11. Intellectual property
Oneiric Diary, including its name, brand, design, logos, code, architecture, interface, features, texts, graphics, databases, selection and arrangement of elements, documentation, software, interaction models, and other proprietary elements, belongs to Erick Rico or its licensors, unless expressly stated otherwise.
The user does not acquire intellectual property rights over the application by downloading, using, or paying for a subscription.
The user receives only a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use Oneiric Diary in accordance with these Terms.
Copying, modifying, distributing, selling, sublicensing, reverse engineering, or exploiting the application is prohibited, except in cases permitted by law.
The user retains their rights over User Content in accordance with Section 7.
12. Account deletion
The user may request or perform account deletion through the following mechanisms:
- From the application (in-app): settings/account path → delete account. For accounts registered with email and password, password confirmation is required.
- From the web: https://api.oneiric-diary.com/account/delete — the user enters their email, receives a confirmation link valid for 24 hours, and confirms deletion.
- By email: support@oneiric-diary.com
Grace period: after requesting deletion, the account enters a "pending_deletion" state for 14 calendar days. During this period the user may sign in and cancel deletion from the application. After the grace period, data is permanently deleted.
Data deleted upon definitive deletion: user profile, dreams, NLP analysis (processed words, emotions, entities), word statistics, word clouds, session tokens, device tokens (push notifications), and other associated personal content.
Data that may be retained after deletion (for legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or audit): account deletion event logs (including email address), prior support requests, subscription records and billing events, blocked malicious content attempt logs, and residual copies in encrypted backups for a limited period before automatic overwrite.
Account deletion does not cancel active subscriptions managed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The user must cancel such subscriptions directly from the corresponding platform.
13. Suspension or termination of the service
The Operator may suspend, limit, or cancel the user's account when it reasonably considers that there has been a breach of these Terms, misuse, fraud, abuse, security risk, infringing content, authority requirement, or request from Apple App Store or Google Play.
Termination for breach does not automatically entitle the user to a refund, unless applicable law or Apple or Google policies provide otherwise.
14. Service availability and modifications
Oneiric Diary is provided as available. The Operator does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or compatibility with all devices.
Some features depend on internet connection, third-party services (Apple, Google, Firebase), active subscriptions, device permissions, or technical compatibility. The Operator may perform scheduled or unscheduled maintenance.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Oneiric Diary is provided "as is" and "as available".
The Operator does not guarantee accuracy of AI results, scientific or professional validity of interpretations, continuous availability, or complete absence of data loss.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages, data loss, AI errors, user decisions, third-party failures (Apple, Google, Firebase, hosting providers), or misuse of the application.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
The user uses Oneiric Diary at their own risk.
16. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, the user agrees to indemnify the Operator against claims arising from breach of these Terms, misuse, infringing User Content, infringement of third-party rights, or external use of AI results.
17. Apple App Store and Google Play conditions
The user acknowledges that downloads, purchases, subscriptions, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are subject to additional terms of Apple App Store or Google Play.
Apple and Google are not responsible for the content, operation, support, or legal compliance of Oneiric Diary, except to the extent established by their applicable conditions.
In case of conflict between these Terms and mandatory rules of Apple or Google, the rules of the corresponding platform shall prevail to the extent necessary.
18. Changes to the terms
The Operator may modify these Terms to reflect legal, technical, commercial, security, feature, or provider changes. The user will be notified through the application, email, website, or other reasonable means. Continued use implies acceptance, unless the law requires additional consent.
19. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed primarily by the laws of the United Mexican States, without prejudice to non-waivable rights of the user under consumer protection laws of their place of residence.
For disputes, the parties submit to the competent courts of [city/state, Mexico], unless applicable law provides a different jurisdiction.
